Inside the Wolf Eye Options Service

The 2pm Ideas list.

Every trading day around 2pm PT: a short market snapshot, three to six defined-risk ideas, and the skips and watches behind them. Each idea carries a structure, a risk tag, a correlation bucket, the reason, and the main risk. It is the daily core of the Wolf Eye Options Service.

  • ~2pm PT every trading day

Who it is for

For traders who want reasoning, not alerts

The 2pm list is not a signal service. It is published research, written so you can check the logic and decide for yourself. It is built for traders who:

What is inside

Anatomy of one idea

Every idea follows the same format so you can read it in under a minute. Here is the shape, using a hypothetical ticker.

  1. Structure~30 DTE 100/105 call debit (~mid 2.10): the structure comes first, and it caps the cost.
  2. TagRisk: 0.5% · Vertical: 100C / 105C · Bucket: single. The tag is the sizing.
  3. WhyTwo lines: the flow, the price action, the catalyst.
  4. Main riskThe single thing most likely to break the idea.

Around the ideas

And around the ideas

Market snapshot

Index levels, volatility, rates, and the catalysts on deck.

Skips

What looked tempting but is not worth it, such as dying weeklies, pinned expirations, and lottery prints.

Watches

Good stories without a clean structure yet; not positions.

End-of-day notes

Scan and follow-up notes when the tape calls for it.

The playbook

How the list is sized

Every idea follows the same written rules, which members get in full. The short version:

  • Default structure is a debit vertical; a naked long only when a vertical is unavailable or the debit is tiny and the clock is short
  • Risk 0.5% to 1% of the account per idea, measured as the full debit
  • Three to five ideas from a list at most, not every one
  • Correlated names share one bucket, sized to 1% to 1.5% total
  • Never take what the list labels Skip; trade the next session or the named event window, not today's dying expiry
  • Scale out around half at 50% to 70% of max value; kill a failed thesis at the close

The rules are there so that no single idea, and no single bad day, decides the account.

Questions

Straight answers

What time does the list publish?

Around 2pm PT on trading days, which leaves time to plan for the next session or the named event window.

Are these orders or recommendations?

No. They are research ideas with the reasoning and main risk spelled out. You decide what fits your account, if anything.

Do I need a big account?

No. Sizing is written as a percentage of the account, so you apply it to whatever size you trade. Some structures may not fit a very small account, and the playbook explains that.

What happens after the $9 trial?

The trial runs for 3 days. After that it continues at the plan shown on the checkout page unless you cancel before it ends. Full plans are $97 per month or $997 per year.

Is this investment advice?

No. Wolf Eye Options is education and research. Every example uses a hypothetical ticker, XYZ, and nothing is personalized to your account. You decide what, if anything, to trade.

Do you publish win rates or results?

No. A win rate without position size, structure, and risk hides more than it shows. We teach you to judge the process instead.

Education disclaimer. Wolf Eye Options is an education and research publication. Nothing on this page is investment advice, a recommendation, or an order to buy or sell any security, and nothing here is personalized to your situation. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for every investor; an option can expire worthless and you can lose the entire premium paid, and some structures (such as covered calls and cash-secured puts) carry the downside risk of owning stock. All trade examples are hypothetical, use the placeholder ticker XYZ, ignore commissions, fees and assignment risk, and are shown only to explain structure and risk. No results, returns, or win rates are claimed or implied. Before trading options, read Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options published by the OCC, and consider consulting a licensed professional.
